I will miss the idea of a great national denomination, as American Christianity becomes post-denominational. But the new, less centralized expressions of Christianity in America will continue and even amplify God’s work.
Can a commitment to social justice really be compared to a religious commitment?

That should be our greatest priority as Christians. We should desire the salvation of our neighbors, not because we want to ensure they vote a certain way, but because we care about their eternal souls and want to see them rescued from the wrath of God.
